Christmas Time!

My dad woke me up at 7... in the morning but then he also made breakfast! My nephew, Benjamin - or Benji as I call him - came around 8 dressed up like Santa and we dug into the presents. Of course Benji is the only one I really took pics of.

My sister found a hippo toy that talks and Bailey heard it and didn't know what think. At first he was just barking at it but then he just started kicking it around. It says "WOW, I KNOW I'M EVERY HIPPOS DREAM!" It was amusing for about an hour...

Bailey's Sweater

I get bored at work and so for the past couple days I crocheted Bailey a sweater!!! He's getting used to it. I have more yarn so I might make another in a different color.

Teaching Bailey...

Bailey was around 2 years old when I adopted him - which makes him about 3 now. So far Bailey will jump, sit, lay down, and leave the treat until I say he can have it.

I'm very thankful that Bailey was already a well-mannered dog when I got him. He is actually really good when I am gone and I do not have to keep him in his pen - I wasn't sure at first but he acts up alot on the days that I have to keep him in his pen. He doesn't chew on or get into anything. I swear he just sleeps on my pillows all day.... Oh ya I did post a few pics of him doing just that, there are more. I will stack the pillows up and make the bed and he will come up and lay down right on top of them.

Currently I am training him to lie on the living room couch while we eat in the kitchen instead of him walking on our feet hoping that we might drop a piece of food for him. This is difficult because of his "sad eyes" - as Bryce puts it - because he often wants to give Bailey food. Oh and I am also trying to teach him to stay but that one is not working out so well.

I tried to take a video of Bailey doing his tricks but it didnt work out like I wanted so maybe some time soon.

Christmas Time

I love Christmas time. I love the decorations, wrapping the gifts, putting up the tree. Oh and of course the music. Last week Bryce, Lora(roomate) and I started putting up Christmas decorations!! We do not have a tree just yet but we will be getting one shortly.

Bailey's 1 yr (adoption) birthday is coming up next week!! And he has changed so much.
